Cheese and Sausage Fundraisers for Schools and Groups

If your group is searching for Thanksgiving fundraising ideas or perhaps a holiday food fundraiser, a cheese and sausage fundraiser is a great option and something different from cookie dough or popcorn.

We recommend cheese and sausage fundraisers because they are easy to sell, and schools often make them an annual tradition. People like to buy cheese spread or sausage for home, and many will add another flavor or buy a few items for holiday entertaining. The affordable prices can also help your sellers achieve higher sales.

Choosing which brochure to offer depends on which one you think will be easiest to sell, how many participants you will have, and what storage options are available. We can discuss the options in more detail and help you choose the best one.

Meat and Cheese Fundraiser Options

We offer several meat and cheese fundraisers, so your group can decide how much variety to offer. You can sell cheese on its own, use the combined brochure for sausage fundraising, or choose a larger brochure with more items.

Cheese and Sausage Fundraiser Brochure

Gourmet Cheese & Sausage

If your group is considering sausage fundraisers, you can offer cheese spreads, summer sausage, Hickory Sticks, and Pepperoni Sticks in one brochure. The Pine River cheese spreads come in Sharp Cheddar, Smoky Bacon, Jalapeño, Horseradish, and Port Wine. Everything in this brochure is shelf-stable, so you will not need refrigerator space when the order arrives.

Wisconsin Cold Pack Cheese Fundraiser Brochure

Wisconsin Cold Pack Cheese

We also offer a cheese catalog if you know your supporters will appreciate the larger Wisconsin Cold Pack cheese tubs. The five flavors are Sharp Cheddar, Smokey Bacon, Jalapeño, Horseradish, and Port & Cheddar. You can offer cheese fundraising alone or combine it with one of our other brochures to give your supporters
more variety.

Heartland Goodies and Gifts Fall Fundraiser Brochure

Fall Goodies & Gifts

If you want to offer more than cheese and sausage, our Goodies & Gifts brochure includes cheese and sausage, plus cookies, candy, coffee, baking mixes, gifts, wrapping paper, and useful kitchen items. Giving your supporters more options usually increases sales. Schools and larger organizations often choose this brochure when they want to offer more variety. Nothing in the brochure needs refrigeration, which makes storage and distribution easier.

Pizza and Pretzels Fundraiser Brochure

Pizza & Pretzels

Pizza and pretzels can be a fun addition to your fundraiser because families like having them on hand for quick meals and snacks. The brochure includes Pepperoni, Three Meat, and Deluxe Supreme French bread pizzas, along with Cheesy Garlic French Bread. It also offers soft pretzels and pretzel nuggets. Freezer storage is required.

Beef Stick and Meat Stick Fundraisers

A beef sticks fundraiser is an easy way to add snack-size items to your cheese and sausage sale. People can enjoy them at home, pack them for lunches, or serve them with cheese and crackers during the holidays. The Hickory Sticks, Pepperoni Sticks, and summer sausage give your supporters several choices without requiring a large catalog. A beef stick fundraiser or meat stick fundraiser can be easy for sellers to share.

How the Fundraiser Works

Once you choose the brochure or combination you want to offer, we will ship your brochures, order forms, and collection envelopes so you have what you need to get started. Most groups sell for about two weeks, giving sellers enough time to reach family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers without letting the fundraiser go on too long.

At the end of the sale, collect the order forms and payments and submit your order. A prepaid shipping label will be included with your brochures, or you can scan and email the sellers' order forms. Once we enter your orders, we will email your sales reports and invoice and send shipping updates. We pack each seller’s order separately at no additional charge, making distribution easy.

Help and Support From Start to Finish

Getting started will be easy! We will help you choose the brochure or combination that works best for your group, prepare your seller packets, and customize a participant letter. We will also set up and customize your online store. Your participant letter will include all the steps to register as a seller and invite supporters to shop.

When the sale ends, we will help you submit the order, review your reports and payment information, and keep you updated on shipping. If anything is missing or damaged, we will help correct it. You will also work with me directly from the time you begin until your order is delivered. With extended office hours seven days a week, you can call whenever you have questions or need help.

Online Cheese and Sausage Fundraising Options

Add online ordering to your cheese and sausage fundraising program, giving sellers another way to reach family and friends. Once your group's online store is ready, each seller can register, share a personal link, and invite supporters to shop by text, email, or social media.

You can use online ordering alongside your brochure sales for a hybrid fundraiser, or choose a cashless or virtual option. Supporters can choose home delivery or group delivery depending on the items purchased. If you choose a virtual fundraiser, we'll ship all orders directly to your supporters' homes. Please note that refrigerated and frozen items are excluded from ship-to-home orders.

Choosing Between Shelf-Stable, Refrigerated, and Frozen Foods

Shelf-stable cheese spreads, summer sausage, Hickory Sticks, and Pepperoni Sticks are the easiest choice when your group doesn't have refrigerated storage or needs more time for pickup. The products can remain at room temperature until sellers pick up their boxes.

Cold pack cheese, pizza, and pretzels can also sell well, but they require more planning. Make sure you have enough refrigerator or freezer space, and ask your sellers to pick up their orders as soon as they are delivered.

Fall and Thanksgiving Food Fundraisers

A cheese and sausage fundraiser is one of our favorite fall fundraiser ideas because families are already planning gatherings, football weekends, and holiday get-togethers. Your supporters can order something to enjoy at home, serve when company comes, or give as a food gift. That makes it a welcome fundraiser, and many schools and groups have annual Thanksgiving fundraisers.

When you are considering Thanksgiving fundraiser ideas, we recommend starting early in the fall, before families are asked to support several other fundraisers.

To receive your order in time for Thanksgiving, return your order forms by October 16. If you are considering Christmas fundraiser ideas, return your order forms by November 13. You can also explore our Fall Fundraising Ideas, Thanksgiving Fundraising Ideas, and Christmas Fundraising Ideas pages for more
seasonal options.

Schools, FFA, Sports Teams, and Community Groups

Schools often choose to sell cheese and sausage because your supporters enjoy eating them at home, and both are perfect for holiday gatherings or gift-giving. A cheese and sausage fundraiser for schools can help
pay for class trips, student activities, and other school expenses. If you are considering a sausage fundraiser for schools or another food fundraiser for schools, we can help you choose the best option for your group.

FFA chapters can use an FFA meat fundraiser to raise money for competitions, travel, and chapter activities. We have more FFA fundraiser Ideas to share if your chapter would like to consider something different. Instead of offering only a meat fundraiser, you can also include a cheese fundraiser using our combined brochure. We can suggest other food fundraisers for schools if your school wants to explore more choices. If you are interested in fundraisers that offer different items, we have several other School Fundraising Ideas to share.

Sports teams are always looking for new sports fundraising ideas to help pay for uniforms, equipment, travel, and tournament expenses. Explore our website for more fundraising ideas for your team, and contact us with any questions. Booster clubs raise money for many sports teams that depend on fundraising to cover their expenses. We can help you find the right booster club fundraising ideas so you can reach your goal sooner. We want your fundraiser to be easy. Depending on how many sellers you'll have, we can suggest the best options.

Churches raise money for youth programs, mission trips, outreach, and building funds. Nonprofit groups also need help funding their programs and community services. Because every group is a bit different, we can
help you explore church fundraising ideas and nonprofit fundraising ideas to find the best options for your
next fundraiser.

More Food Fundraising Choices

In addition to cheese and sausage, a popcorn fundraiser or cookie dough fundraiser might be better if your group would rather sell something else. Our Gourmet Goodness fundraiser is a good choice for any size group and combines food and gift items in one brochure and in the online store. View our Food Fundraising Ideas to see what else we can offer you.
