Chocolate Bar Fundraiser and In-Hand Seller Fundraisers
Looking for a simple fundraiser where your sellers have the products ready to sell? Our in-
hand seller fundraisers include chocolate bars, pretzel rods, chocolate-covered fortune cookies, gummies,

Choose the products you want and place your order. Once your shipment arrives, give the

How Many Cases Should You Order?
We suggest planning for each participant in your organization to sell at least one carry case of candy bars or other in-hand items. You may want to order a few extra cases for your top sellers, who can often sell several more.
Before ordering, set your fundraising goal and determine how many items each participant needs to sell to reach it. You may also want to round up to the next profit level when it lowers your per-case cost and increases your profit percentage.
With a low $1 or $2 selling price, these in-hand items can sell quickly. If you aren't sure how
many students will participate, you can always place another order as needed.
Ordering and Payment Options
To place your order, mail a school check, organization check, cashier's check, or money order along with the item and quantity being ordered, your name, shipping address, phone number, and email address to:

Shipping Information
Shipping is free within the lower 48 states, with no fuel surcharges. Orders are generally delivered within 2–5 business days, depending on your location. Van Wyk has eight regional warehouses throughout the United States to help keep shipping times as short as possible.
Depending on your order size, it will ship via UPS Ground or freight. Once you place your order, you'll receive an order confirmation, followed by tracking information and an estimated delivery date when it ships.
Warm Weather Shipping: Chocolate and other heat-sensitive products require extra care during warmer weather. Shipments may be delayed until temperatures fall below 77 degrees or may require dry ice at an additional cost to help prevent melting. Van Wyk determines when dry ice is needed.
For the easiest shipping, we suggest holding your sale early in the spring or after temperatures have cooled in the fall.
How In-Hand Seller Fundraisers Work
1.
Set your fundraising goal and determine how many participants will be selling.
2.
Decide how many items each participant will need to sell to help your group reach its goal.
3.
Submit your order and payment. We accept purchase orders from approved schools and youth organizations. You’ll receive an order confirmation followed by tracking information when your order ships.
4.
Give your sellers their products and kick off your fundraiser. We recommend sending a parent letter explaining why your group is raising money, the sale closing date, and who to contact with questions.
5.
Sellers have the products with them and collect payment at each sale.
6.
You can also share pictures of the products by email, text, and social media so family and friends know what your group is selling.
7.
Keep a record of how many items each participant receives and how much money each seller turns in.
8.
At the end, tally your profit and thank your families for participating.
Safety Reminder : Children should never sell door-to-door alone. They should always be accompanied by an adult.
Chocolate Bar Fundraiser for Schools and Teams
A chocolate bar fundraiser for schools can be a simple choice when students are comfortable selling directly to family, friends, teachers, and other supporters. A candy bar fundraiser for schools also gives families an easy-to-understand selling price, especially with $1 and $2 items.

With candy bar fundraisers for schools, students can sell at games, practices, school events, and other activities. If you're looking for the kinds of chocolate bars that schools sell, the product choices above include both one-dollar and two-dollar options.
Fundraising Candy and Chocolate Options
If your group wants fundraising candy sellers can carry with them, in-hand products keep sales simple. A chocolate candy bar fundraiser gives supporters something they can buy and take right away, while
gummies and pretzel rods give sellers a few non-bar options.

Fundraising candy boxes also make it easy to divide products among your participants. Each candy bar fundraiser box or carrier contains a set number of items, so you can track what each seller receives and how much money to return.

Candy bar sales work well for groups that want a low-priced product people can buy on the spot. Because candy bar sales don't require customers to wait for an order, they're especially useful at school activities, games, practices, and community events.
One Dollar Chocolate Bar Fundraiser Options
A dollar chocolate bar fundraiser gives your sellers an inexpensive product they can offer almost anywhere they see family, friends, teachers, coworkers, or other supporters. The one-dollar bar option
is especially simple because buyers know exactly what they're spending, and sellers can collect payment as soon as they make the sale.

The $1 chocolate bars shown above come in several flavors, so your group can offer some variety while keeping the selling price the same.
In-Hand Fundraisers for Sports Teams and Groups
In-hand sellers work well for sports teams, booster clubs, and student organizations because participants can take products to practices, games, meetings, and other activities. Groups browsing our sports fundraising ideas or sports booster club fundraising ideas may want this type of sale if they prefer a simple product fundraiser with low selling prices.

They can also be a good option for smaller groups. Our student organization fundraising ideas and easy fundraising Ideas include other choices if you want to compare this fundraiser with different ways to
raise money.
More Food Fundraising Ideas
If you're still deciding what to sell, our Food Fundraising Ideas and school fundraising ideas pages include several other choices. A snack fundraiser offers a different mix of individually packaged products, while a popcorn fundraiser or cookie dough fundraiser may be better when your group wants supporters to choose from a larger selection.

For groups interested specifically in pretzels, the products above include choices for a chocolate-covered pretzel fundraiser as well as a chocolate-covered pretzel rods fundraiser. The $1 pretzel rods also give us the exact chocolate-dipped pretzel rods fundraiser phrase naturally in the product section above.
When Is the Best Time for an In-Hand Fundraiser?
Spring and fall are usually the easiest times for an in-hand sale, especially when you're selling chocolate. Our spring fundraising Ideas and fall fundraising ideas pages include other seasonal choices if
you're deciding what will work best for your group.

You can sell these products at other times of the year, but summer heat can make storing and shipping chocolate more difficult. If temperatures are high, you may want to choose a non-chocolate product
or wait for cooler weather.
In-Hand Seller Fundraiser FAQs
A chocolates fundraiser is simply a fundraiser where participants sell chocolate products to raise money for their group. If you’re looking for chocolates for fundraising, in-hand options let sellers carry the products and collect payment at the time of sale. The fundraising chocolates and candy bars shown above are sold by the case, with profit depending on the product and quantity ordered.
When comparing chocolate fundraiser companies, consider the selling price, case quantity, profit, shipping costs, minimum order, product selection, and whether you can return unsold products. With these in-hand sellers, your group purchases the products first, so it is especially important to order carefully.
Yes. Candy bar fundraisers for individuals can work when one person is raising money for a
team, school activity, trip, or other organization. A candy bar sales fundraiser is straightforward because the seller has the product available and collects payment when someone buys.A chocolate candy fundraiser can include chocolate bars, chocolate-dipped pretzel rods,
chocolate-covered fortune cookies, or other individually packaged products. Your group can choose the products and selling prices shown above based on what you think your supporters will enjoy.
