Pair Winter Wonderland with Gourmet Goodness

Winter Wonderland and Gourmet Goodness are a great combination for Christmas fundraisers for schools and other groups. The two brochures use the same customer order form, so your sellers can hand them out together, and your group can submit one combined order instead of two.

Gourmet Goodness offers your families sweet and savory foods at affordable prices and is one of the Food Fundraising Ideas we often recommend for the holidays. When you offer both brochures as a holiday gift fundraiser, your families have more to choose from, which can help your group increase sales.

Choose brochure, hybrid, or virtual fundraising

Your group can use a traditional catalog fundraiser, sell entirely online, or combine a brochure with an online store.

Traditional brochure fundraising

Your families can look through the Christmas fundraiser catalog together while your sellers collect orders and payments.

For PTO fundraising, your family night or open house is a great time to introduce a gift wrap fundraiser. Parents can look through the brochure during the event, and your sellers can follow up afterward.

Recommended option: Hybrid fundraising

We highly recommend hybrid fundraising for most groups because your sellers can reach people with both the brochure and online store. They can show the brochure to family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors, then send their shopping links to people they may not see in person. That can help your sellers bring in more sales.

Your supporters can shop and pay online, then choose home delivery or have their orders included with your group delivery.

If someone does not have cash or a check, they can order online and pay with a credit or debit card.

With PTA fundraising, your families can look through the brochure together and place their orders online when they're ready.

We’ll explain our online fundraising choices and what they mean for your volunteers and sellers.

Virtual fundraising

With a fully online Christmas gift wrap fundraiser, your sellers share their shopping links and every product order ships directly to the buyer.

Your supporters can also make an online donation.

Winter Wonderland Success Made Simple fundraising program guide

Winter Wonderland Success Made Simple

Success Made Simple shows you what happens from the day you choose your selling dates to the day your orders are delivered. It explains how brochure, hybrid, and virtual fundraising work, what comes in the seller packets, and how to introduce your fundraiser.

You'll also see how to submit your group order, when it needs to arrive for Thanksgiving or Christmas delivery, and how each seller's order is packed and labeled.

My Prize Program

A prize program can make holiday fundraisers for schools even more exciting, so we often recommend including one.

Your students can earn prizes, classrooms can take part in drawings, and teachers can receive incentives. These extras can help keep everyone excited about the fundraiser.

We'll explain the prize choices and answer your questions about how each one works.

How our Winter Wonderland fundraiser works

1

Choose how you want to sell

Call Deb to get started with brochure, hybrid, or virtual fundraising. Orders received by Halloween can arrive in time for Thanksgiving. Orders received by Thanksgiving can arrive before Christmas and winter break.

Customize your fundraising materials and online store

We'll prepare a participant letter with everything your sellers and families need to know:

  • Why your group is raising money

  • How much your group hopes to raise

  • How your sellers can sell

  • How families should pay

  • When your fundraiser ends

  • Who families can contact with questions

We can also add your logo, a QR code for sellers to register, and selling tips.

If you choose hybrid or virtual fundraising, we will set up the online store for your group.

Your chairperson login shows you who has registered and how your online sales are coming along.

3

Receive seller packets, posters, and kickoff materials

Before your fundraiser begins, we prepare the materials for the way you choose to sell. We then ship everything to your group for free.

If you choose brochure or hybrid fundraising, your group will receive seller packets with the Winter Wonderland brochure, order form, collection envelope, participant letter, and prize information if you offer prizes.

If you also offer Gourmet Goodness, we'll put both brochures in each seller packet. For a virtual fundraiser, your group will receive a flyer that your sellers can use to share the online store.

For school brochure and hybrid fundraisers, each tote bag holds 25 seller packets, and teachers can keep the totes.

Share the kickoff video at an assembly, in classrooms, or by email. Hang posters in hallways or gathering areas to keep your fundraiser visible.

4

Register and begin selling

Encourage your sellers to register online, show the Winter Wonderland brochure, and share their shopping links by text, email, or social media.

5

Submit your group order

Use our prepaid label to mail the order forms, scan and email them, or have your sellers enter their orders online. We’ll enter the orders from any forms you mail or email.

6

Receive orders packed for each seller

After you submit your order, we put the brochure and online orders together for every seller before shipping them to your group. Whether your sellers use one brochure or both, each order is packed in a labeled box, ready to hand out.

With food fundraisers for schools, having each student’s order packed and labeled saves your volunteers from sorting food, gifts, and wrapping paper before pickup.

Brochure orders and online orders included with your group delivery ship free.

Before your order ships, we’ll email your invoice and sales reports so you can review your orders, sales, and profit. We’ll send the tracking information when the order ships.

7

Distribute orders and receive your profit

When your delivery arrives, your volunteers can hand each labeled box to the right seller.

Most Winter Wonderland brochure items earn 50% profit. Online product sales, totes, and mixes earn 40%. Your group earns $11 for every Yankee Candle sold, 40% on all Gourmet Goodness items, and 70% on every online donation.

Your group keeps the profit from brochure sales upfront. We apply the profit from online orders shipped with your group order to your invoice, reducing the amount you owe.

With a virtual fundraiser, product orders ship directly to the buyers, and we mail the profit check to your organization.

Christmas fundraiser ideas with wrapping paper, gifts & holiday favorites

Your families are already shopping for Christmas, so your sellers have a good reason to show them the brochure.

One person may need wrapping paper, another may choose a gift, and a grandmother may pick out chocolates to serve when everyone comes over.

Wrapping paper is on many shopping lists, which is why wrapping paper fundraisers are easy to share before Christmas.

Your supporters can buy several things they need for the holidays while helping your group.

Pairing the two brochures creates a holiday food fundraiser with plenty for your families to enjoy at gatherings and on cold evenings at home.

We can also show you other Christmas fundraising ideas if you want to offer something different.

A holiday fundraiser for schools

When you’re looking at Christmas fundraising ideas for schools, Winter Wonderland offers the gifts, wrapping paper, and holiday favorites your families are already shopping for.

Your students can share the brochure with family and friends, then use the online link to reach relatives they may not see in person.

Gourmet Goodness also works as a food fundraiser for schools because every item is shelf-stable.

With no minimum order, your school earns the same 50% profit on most Winter Wonderland brochure items whether your school is large or small. Your school can also consider our holiday shop fundraiser when students shop for gifts at school.

We can also answer your questions about other School Fundraising Ideas.

Winter Wonderland for teams, churches & other groups

Your sports team or booster club can use this fundraiser to help pay for uniforms, equipment, and travel. Your sellers can show the brochure at games and team events, and a volunteer can help your supporters place an online order while they are there.

If you're fundraising for a music group or theatre program, you can include the shopping link in a concert program or send it to family before a performance.

Your church or youth group can introduce this Christmas gift fundraiser before or after services or meetings, with someone there to answer questions and help with orders.

Your nonprofit or club can use the brochure and online store to raise money for programs and activities.

  • If you are fundraising for a public school, you can use a purchase order. You can also pay by organization check, business check, cashier's check, money order, or credit card.
